The annual experiential event is held at The Waterfront and Central Park within the award-winning masterplan development township of Desa ParkCity in Kuala Lumpur. The park itself is totally transformed through the abundant use of lights decor, art sculptures and vibrant colors to showcase an appreciation of Art in Nature. A Scandinavian Inspiration
In conjunction with the Christmas and New Year celebrations, be truly enchanted, spellbound, and mesmerized by the Nordic-inspired Year-End Light Festival featuring a mind-boggling array of art décor, light installations and illumination displays. This year’s Light Festival features seven different touchpoints along the designated route to allow visitors a visually-stimulating stroll from The Waterfront to and around the Central Park. The limited-time event also features a vast complex and configuration of light arrangements such as the ‘Vinter Garden,’ the ‘Field of Lights’ as well as the ‘Starry Lights Tunnel.’
A Dazzling Light-Show
Under the mesmerizing Starry Nights sky, come and celebrate with DPC the Magic of the Season, with illuminations inspired by the blue and white of Scandinavian lights. Take a stroll and immerse yourself in the beauty of Vinter Garden accompanied by a sea of SOS ocean-themed artworks as well as the shimmering masterpieces of Duva Birds in all their fluttering fabulousness. The Vinter Garden boasts a splendid 38-foot pyramid-shaped Christmas tree. Adding to the holy Christmas spirit is the breathtaking Starry Lights Tunnel decked out with a captivating blend of blue and white LED lights. You also get to enjoy a lovely landscaped scenery with the Field of Lights that turns mundane green fields into a spectacular showcase of cool blue lights comprising 60,000 energy-saving LEDs…now that is a real spectacle!
